Royal castle and town Loket during the reign of the Luxembourg dynasty

The Loket castle and city history begins in the High Middle Ages. The city likely started to develop in response to the importance of the castle and it's foundation/establishment is connected to the big founding wave of the king Přemysl Otakar II. From the beginning the castle was built as an important point of the royal administration and protection of the land border and it held it's importance all throughout the Middle Ages. Thus it's for example mentioned in Majesty of Charles IV. among royal castles that cannot under any circumstances be stolen or pledged to someone. Rulers of the Luxembourg dynasty played an important role in the appearance of several royal residences and cities, in addition to that Loket is connected to the short episode in the life of Charles IV. Hence the goal of this thesis is to trace down the historical development of the Loket castle and city during the rule of the Luxembourg dynasty in Czech lands, particularly the architectural and constructional transformations, connections of the burgraves of Loket, Loket's townsmen and other important local individuals to the Prague's royal court and possible personal connections of the rulers of Luxembourg dynasty to Loket.
Evaluation of Strategic Planning in Terms of Tourism in Czech Royal Middle-Sized Cities

1 Submitted paper, strive to affect tourism management in medium size royal cities in Bohemia, in terms of strategic planning, heritage conservation, accommodation capacity and tourism attendance. Further objectives are also focused on interurban association and mutual cooperation. Quantitative research uses analysis and synthesis basics, and also comparative methods. Main inputs of this research are secondary data, especially development documents of selected cities and national statistics data. Because of numberless cultural wealth are royal cities frequently visited places. Therefore there is a preview of the role of tourism in level of strategic planning, and for quality of urban conservation areas developmental documents.
The church of st. Bartolomeus in Pilsen

The thesis wants to explain a building historical evolution of church St. Bartolomeus in Pilsen. The topic is defined from the beginning to construction works to 16th century. The systematics of topic contains a historical evolution of the area from 9th century to be beginning from a Old Pzenec (Starý Plzenec) with a hilfort of the same name. Next the text narrates about a foundation of a town New Pilsen (Nová Plzeň), which is bound with a history of castle Radyně from time of the emperor Karel IV. History and conception of the church are explored by a architecture aspect. The topic is closed by a Šternberk's chapel, which was founded at the turn 15th and 16th century's and which was a last Gothic action this building. The construction periods are compared between them with a respect to style specifics from the foundation to 16th century. This work notes of a architecture overall also of architectural details and these wants to place this building into a context of the contemporary architecture.
Personal structure of town councils in České Budějovice in 17th century

The aim of this diploma thesis is to compile the personal structure of town councils in 17th century in České Budějovice. The work shows functioning of the two highest institutions in town, the town council and local elders. It will shows families, which participated in local administrative. Also present important councillors and their careers. It will tries to reveal their social origin. All of these findings will be compared with the works of authors, which done the same researches for other towns. The last chapter will be focused on relationships between councillors
